Confessions of a Letterman.

David Letterman, the man who is famous for his The late night show with David Letterman, his kinkiness and his rude jokes over to elite personalities confesses that he is a victim of blackmail. He states that someone asked for $2 million from him to keep their mouth zipped about his sexual liasions to be leaked out.
He testifies it to the grand jury that he did indeed have sexual relationships with two of his female staff members. Earlier he had also told sources that he gave phony $2 million to confirm the blackmailer. Check out what CNN news has to say about it.

Miley Cyrus and her new video Party in the USA.

Miley has certainly given a lot of suprises to her fans with her latest song Party in the USA and her new clothing line. Yes, the 16 year old daughter of Billy Ray Cyrus is sure taking bigger steps than for a normal teenager. Miley was on the Today show on August the 28^th, 2009 where she tells us about her clothing line and how involved she was. Take a look.

Obviously her new album is more about her clothing line despite that, some people just did not like how she was dressed in her new song Party in the USA video. She also talks about greater transition with her new songs. Me thinks that would these transitions result in lesser fans? Is she really going to just turn up like a normal singer? We can not forget that Disney fans were and are a huge help for most of her success. A lot of people have commented on her video for Party in the USA as a bad example for little girls. Jason, a father of three daughters tells us that he really did not like his daughters watching miley’s new video as he would not like his daughters to get those kind of party clothes if that’s what’s she is trying to promote. Others say that it was a real awesome song and a video but yes Miley did act a bit mature than her age but that’s how 16 year old girls are nowadays. Certainly if we look at singers like Britney in their young age then yes what Miley is doing is nothing out of the ordinary but is far stylish than just being pure vulgar (if you know what I mean). She also mentions her two favorite artists in her song lyrics Jay-Z and Britney but sources have revealed that Jay-Z would be replaced by Kanye West. I do not know why she would do that but I think the better question would be that how would Taylor feel about it as we have seen a lot of Miley and Taylor together in concerts. VMA (MTV Video Music Awards 2009)

To tell you the blunt truth, VMA did not stick to its script. The big story for today (oops big is only a three letter word :p). Yes, if most of you do not know that VMA was such a disaster this year well now is the chance to Google it. We on the other hand are going to talk about one of the most heartfelt disasters on the show. Yes, Kanye West dissed Taylor Swift in her moment of acceptance speech, dissed? You ask? Well our beloved Taylor Swift was nominated for the best female music videos for her song you belong to me and she won. While delivering her acceptance speech Kanye West jumps up on the stage, takes the microphone from her and says, “Yo Taylor! Ima let you finish but Beyonce had the best music video of all time! Best music video of all time!” Shortly after that Taylor left the stage without uttering a single word followed by few standing ovations which she received while staying quiet and trying to control her emotions.

Some say it was staged for a publicity stunt and some say it was out of nowhere, what we do know is that Beyonce’s reaction to Kanye West was (what thaaaa). After that night Kanye West appeared in the Jay leno show where he cried on the question when he was asked that exactly what his deceased mom would think about his behavior (well…sort of cried). Whereas Taylor appeared on The View and her description of the situation was something like this.

“Wow I won a VMA, don’t trip and fall, I’m gonna get to thank the fans. Oh! Kanye West is here… (People laughing and clapping) Oh! Kanye West is here, cool haircut, what are you doing here? (People laughing) and then Ouch! I guess I am not gonna get to thank the fans”.

But the best part is that Taylor said that she would always have the door open for Kanye if he ever wanted to say hi (meaning apologize). Well we must say that you got a real big heart or perhaps you understand that what Kanye did was the best thing that ever happened to you ;).
